Task 04 – Ableton

This task we have to do a remix on the Ableton live music software, here is my proposal:

I am remixing a track made by Delerium called After all. I’m turning this vocal into a Drum and bass track, in the upcoming roller category which is another type of jump up. The tempo is so much lower than drum and bass, so the flexing it in time will be a challenge. This is because the track is originally a trance/house track. A very bouncy and groovy song but drum and bass is a lot quicker and has different drum patterns. Which will be hard. An issue i may face if i release the track is the copyright as the recording and the composition. That being using the lyrics the artist has used, and using the recording that the creator has produced.

 

 

I am very happy with this track overall. This is because I went through at least 3 different tracks, and I just didn’t feel the vibe on anything, or they wasn’t anything special. But this song was my final piece of production and it’s the best by far. I took back everything I learned on the other tracks and stuck it all into one. That being, drum patterns, sound design and vocals. They all just crammed into one, and made, Delerium – After All (ALR Remix).
