Skills and Talents.

My skills in this would be the producing side of the course. Making the beats, having the knowledge to use Logic Pro X and a keyboard. I have this knowledge by doing a course last year. UAL Level 2 Music Technology. This has helped me because I know the basics and some advanced skills in the software.

Ambition and Develop.

My ambition is to be able to mic without failing and loosing ability. Sometimes I do get lost or confused and I want to be able to be good at mixing so I can do sets and mixes. Also, I want to be able to make my own sounds in massive so they are MY sounds. Not copying other Dj’s. So, people recognise it’s me by my sound. I need to develop my skills at mixing and making my own sounds for this year.

Who I need to work with.

I feel like I need to work with a lot of different people this year to help me develop my skills on being a DJ. I need to work with different Djs to help me improve on my mixing on sets and mixes. I also need to work with a number of different producers to help me do collaboration for a future EP? And get inspiration from other producers for drum beats, bass and even massive sounds.

All of this will help me throughout the year to develop and be a better DJ in the future.

Personal Analysis

Low Down Deep.

This is a record label that does drum and bass and hold events and produce people’s music. I am interested in this because big Djs have been performing on these events. For example, Turno, Logan D, and Upgrade. These are even some of my favourite DJs and I’m very interested on looking more into it.

Serial Killaz.

These are two Producers, and one DJ, that has made their own company. Where they host their own events and hire out Djs, For example, Leaf, T>I and DJ Hybrid to perform at their events. This is something I’m interested in too. Making my own company to make events. Also perform at my own events too.
